Interstate interlopers or Adventures in South Australian Narrow gauge

Greetings,
My dad and I went to South Australia during the school holidays, so I could get my hours up to get my P plates.
We visited the Pitchi Richi Railway in Quorn in the southern flinders rangers. (http://www.prr.org.au/cms/)

Some 1:87 action - Murray Modellers annual exihibtion


The annual Murray Modellers show was on this weekend. Layouts included Victoria Bridge, Cockroach Valley and the Murray Modellers newly refurbished Murranbilla.

Latest activity

There's has been a constant parade of 92 and NR classes.  Of interest NR74, in The Ghan livery was seen at least twice heading towards Melbourne.

Some interesting workings-Albury area

In the last couple of weeks there has been some interesting workings in the Albury area.

P13 worked to Albury for a radio test on Wednesday 26th
B61-S302-GM22 worked a ARTC ballast train in the Albury area during the week from the 20th Feb.
On Sunday 23rd, the train was stabled in Albury Yard. Track tampering equipment was also stabled in the yard.

Also of interest was two EL headed towards Sydney light engine, possibly heading for the Ettomogah.
